At AMBUSC our mission has always been to find an appropriate place for all our members to play at all ages. As Covid restrictions continue to be lifted AMBUSC is excited to announce that our summer mini soccer program will be running this year. We aim to provide teams for all mini age groups from U4 DOB 2018 to U8 DOB 2014.

The season for our U4, U5, U6 players will start in May with one training session per week at 6PM every Tuesday ending in August. At the beginning of each session age groups will be combined together, separately for boys and girls, with a focus on fundamental skill development. Then they will break up into smaller groups/teams for further skill development and/or soccer game based activities. There may be an opportunity for additional training sessions throughout the season as yet to be determined. The goal is to ensure this first experience is fun and enjoyable and revolves around child-friendly soccer. Most of all, it is to have them fall in love with the game.

Our U7 & U8 players will also start in May, two evenings per week starting at 6PM on Monday and Wednesday at Dochart Park. Typically, these age groups have one practice day and one game day each week. There may be an opportunity for additional training sessions throughout the season as yet to be determined. Training sessions will also be combined for the entire age group, separated for boys and girls, then separated into smaller groups/teams with focus on applying the skills they have learned into game-based situations. This will help prepare these players for when they move into the youth program and play in leagues against other clubs. The U7 & U8’s may have the opportunity to play in weekend Festivals/Tournaments, location and dates have yet to be determined.

We will once again be supported by Tim Hortons for all our mini program and we are very grateful for all the support they give to us and our community.  Uniforms will be provided, however, shin pads and socks that cover the pads are required.  Cleats are recommended but not mandatory (running shoes with good tread are acceptable).

We need your help so that our children can participate and play, a number of volunteers are needed every year, especially coaches and managers. This year we will be providing Coaching Certification and Training courses. For more information about coaching please contact
