 Special General Meeting November 23, 2023, Agenda:

1.  Opening by President & verification of quorum

2.  Extraordinary motion for the members to approve our finances for the year ending October 31, 2023 be presented for acceptance with a "Notice to Reader" rather than a "Financial Review".  Moved by Les Laprade, seconded by Zak Butterly

Reason for this motion:  whether a club is required to have an audit, review or notice is determined by OS and ONCA and requires a motion by the membership to change.  This was an unusual year for us in that our gross income and number of players exceeded our expectations when our budget for financial services was set, moving us from the "notice" category to "review".  A "financial review" requires more time for our accounts to prepare and the cost is approximately four times that of a "Notice to Reader".

4.  Proposed "Operational Guidelines" includes some items previously in the Constitution and various policies.
